Tarrytown, NY – October 2012
We went to Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown today, because these two towns were very nicely decorated for Halloween last year.
We didn’t expect to find so many decorations as last year, because of Sandy, but we did spot this poor little witch. I guess it must have been hard flying on a broom with such strong winds.
There seemed to be no electricity in most of the area and many trees and branches were down. I still hope the kids can have a little fun tomorrow and think about something else than Sandy.

Somehow the “witch flying into a tree” decoration seems just eerily on target this Halloween for that part of the country!!

Funny! Hope the children in that area had a good Halloween.
Unfortunately we didn’t have one single kid knock at our door this year. They postponed it but it didn’t seem to work.
I have always loved this one. Recently someone sent me a picture of a witch just like this one except she was holding a cell phone…thought that was great!
I too think it’s a pretty funny one. The cell phone is a great idea!
